Coach Coutee has been a valued member of the Mesa community for the past 11 years, bringing continuity, familiarity, and a deep understanding of our program. He has served Mesa Football in multiple roles, including Offensive Coordinator, Offensive Line Coach, and Junior Varsity Head Coach. His leadership provides stability for our current program while also opening the door for growth, evolution, and exciting new traditions.
As Mesa Football prepares to compete in a league comprised of some of the best programs in California, Coach Coutee’s experience and football expertise position him well to guide us forward. No team in Mesa history has had this opportunity, and Coach Coutee’s background, preparation, and vision align with the competitive level we are entering.
Coach Coutee brings over three decades of coaching experience, including leadership roles at both the high school and collegiate levels:

• Moreno Valley High School – Analyst / Offensive Assistant

• Chaffey College – Offensive Line / Tight Ends Coach
• Vista Del Lago High School – Offensive Coordinator
• Murrieta Mesa High School – Offensive Coordinator (2015–2020)
• Chaparral High School – Offensive Assistant
• Murrieta Mesa High School – Offensive Line Coach / Junior Varsity Head Coach (2022–Present)
