Record Breaking Performance
November 10th, 2017 Gio Sanders shatters the receiving yards in a single game record. Gio caught 9 passes for 337 yards and 5 touchdowns. Gio also had 2 interceptions and 10 tackles to lead Murrieta Mesa to it's first ever home playoff win. Gio's receiving yards came one shy of the all-time record for receiving yards in a game for the entire Inland Empire. Gio's performace earned him Southern California's Male Athlete of the week.
